He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Harris and Lucy Harris (Ringland); his son Michael John Harris; and his siblings, David and Thomas Harris.
He is survived by: his wife Joan C. Harris (Sozanski); his daughters, Cheryl Harris Bucacci (William) of Coventry and Melissa Harris Nelkin of West Greenwich; his grandchildren, Jarrod, Kate and Mia; and his brother Steven Harris.
