He is survived by : his spouse Christina L. Schmidt (Defeo) of West Greenwich, RI.; his children, Lisa Marie Schmidt of West Greenwich, RI, David J. Schmidt of West Greenwich, RI and Sara Anne Schmidt of West Greenwich, RI; and his siblings, Christine M. Tedeschi of Charlestown, RI, Peter C. Schmidt of Missouri City, TX and Anne M. Adamo of Warwick, RI. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
