He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Smith and Rachel F. Smith (Marcoux); and his siblings, James Smith and Rachel Smith. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Smith (Fontaine); his daughters, Kerrie McLaughlin and Ashley Desjardins; his grandchildren, Ryan Desjardins, Reese McLaughlin, Cassandra Desjardins and Adam Desjardins; and his siblings, John Smith, Mary Smith, Terry Bournival and Roger Bernier.
