She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter Stedman and Susan Stedman (Sugell); her husband Robert C. Giroux; and her siblings, Walter Stedman and Susan Chaffee.

She is survived by : her children, Deborah Prefontaine (Barry), Robert Giroux (Gail) and Nancy Steere (Bradley); her grandchildren, Barry Prefontaine Jr., Bethany Eichholz, Gregory Giroux, Kelsey Giroux, Nicole Giroux, Sarah Steere and Katherine Steere; and her great grandchildren, Olivia and Lucas Eichholz.
