Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Antonio Mello Jr. of West Warwick, Rhode Island, who passed away at the age of 97, on April 23, 2024. He was predeceased by : his wife Philomena Mello (Iannitelli); his parents, Antonio Mello and Mary Mello (Smeals); and his sister Mary Ferreira-Levine. He is survived by : his sons, Antonio M. Mello (June), Ernest Mello, Kevin Mello and Michael Mello (Karen); his grandchildren, Lori Silva, Nathan Mello, Jason Mello, Shannon Mello, Jason Galli and Dillon Pinho; his great grandchildren, Danny Leander, Jacob Leander, Shailey Mello, Ashton M. Silva, Ashton Galli and Lucas Galli; and his goddaughter Patricia Ferreira. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A procession was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 9:45 AM at the Cemetery Entrance Parking Lot. The military honors was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery Columbarium Committal Center (301 S County Trail, Exeter, RI 02822).
