She was predeceased by: her husband Gilbert W. Jr.; her son Michael Downey; and her parents, Myrtle E. Brown (Hudson) and Forest N. Brown Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Bryan Downey and Dean Gallagher; her daughter-in-law Stefani Gallagher; her grandchildren, Logan Downey, Kristin (Gallagher) Pic (Andrew Pic) and Steven Gallagher; her great grandchildren, Jack, Logan Downey Jr. and Mason Pic; and her sibling Forest N. Brown III.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home (659 E Greenwich Ave, West Warwick, RI 02893). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Highland Memorial Park Cemetery (1 Rhode Island Ave, Johnston, RI 02919).
