She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Irons and Elsie Irons (Coulthurst). She is survived by: her husband Thomas L. Blackinton; her children, Jennifer Perkins (Larry) of Attleboro, MA, Thomas C. Blackinton (Pamela) of Warwick and Bethany Correia (Paul) of Coventry; her brothers, Thomas Irons (Barbara) of Cranston and John Irons (Diane) of Marlborough, MA; and her nephew Coburn Blackinton. She is also survived by grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. David's On-The-Hill Episcopal Church (200 Meshanticut Valley Pkwy, Cranston, RI 02920). A committal service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Highland Memorial Park Cemetery (1 Rhode Island Ave, Johnston, RI 02919).
