She was predeceased by : her husband Robert A. Horton; her parents, Elmer N. Carpenter and Edith J. Carpenter (Johnson); and her son Mark Horton. She is survived by : her daughter Cathy Weaver of Cranston, RI; her grandchildren, Christine Weaver of Coventry, RI and James Weaver of Cranston, RI; her sister Priscilla Carpenter of Cranston, RI; her close friend Douglas Kershaw of Bristol, RI.; and her cocker spaniel Molly.
