She was predeceased by : her former life partner Joseph Cadete; her parents, Antonio Moniz and Laura Moniz (Sylvia); her daughter Margaret "Peggy" D'Amore; her sons-in-law, Jeffrey M. Bangs and William M. D'Amore Jr.; and her siblings, Manuel Moniz, Joseph Moniz, Mary Lawrence, Frances Brown and Vera Alvernaz.

She is survived by : her daughters, Laura A. Bangs of Foster and Jane M. Venditto (Stephen) of West Warwick; her grandchildren, William D'Amore, Daria D'Amore Sullivan, Kelley Bangs, Drew Bangs, Russell Venditto and Jeremy Venditto; and her great grandchildren, Ian and Conor Sullivan. She is also survived by her family and many friends.

Lucille Bollengier wrote a sympathy message

“Bob and I are so sorry to hear of Connie's passing. She was a great roommate for my mom. Whenever I did anything for her, she always had a "thank you" and a smile, for me. I remember one night standing at the door looking at my mom and saying "I love you", and Connie said "I love you, too." And I told her that I loved her too. Jane and Laura, thank you for always keeping an eye on my mom, when you were there. I am sure that Connie is dancing around in heaven, with her husband. RIP, sweet lady”
