With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doreen May Lippitt (West Warwick, Rhode Island), born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on October 23, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband David E. Lippitt; her parents, William Gooding and Margaret M. Gooding (Mawhood); and her brother Robert Gooding. She is survived by: her sister Joan Stephenson (Warren); her children, Margaret "Peggy" Lippitt, William "Bill" Lippitt (Lorraine), Deborah "Debbie" Ware (Lippitt) and Doreen "Dodie" Simao (Lippitt); her son-in-law Harold Hemberger; her grandchildren, Molly Hemberger-DeSanto (Sean), Kelly McHugh (Jonathan), Christopher Lippitt (Caitlyn), Jennifer Contillo (John), Jessica Jones (Craig), Nikki Lavoie (Ware), Dan LaCroix, Mindy Picozzi (Domenico), Richelle Dowell (Michael), Malakie, Quinn and Elyn; her great grandchildren, Finn, Wyatt, Paisley, Benjamin, Emily, Liam, Colby, Callum of Cayla, CJ, Megan, Lydia, Ana, Victoria, Valentina, Santino, Mason and Bennett; and her sister-in-law Dimity Thornton (Lippitt).
