She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas P. Smith; her parents, Ernest Bessette and Ida Bessette (Goyette); and her siblings, Claire Gauvin and Robert Bessette.
She is survived by: her children, Phyllis Levesque, Mary Smith and Thomas P. Smith Jr.; and her grandson Chris Levesque.
A burial was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 10:15 AM. A prayer was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery (301 S County Trail, Exeter, RI 02822).
