With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward G. Bishop Jr. of West Warwick, Rhode Island, born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on April 10, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward Bishop and Catherine Bishop (Juszczak); and his brothers, Earl Bishop and Robert Bishop. He is survived by : his wife Marilyn L. Bishop (Ruzzo); his sons, Gregory Bishop (Valerie) and Kevin Bishop (Kelly); his grandchildren, Ashley Rafferty (Bobby Rafferty), Zachary, Sophie, Cooper and Crosby Bishop; his great grandchildren, Bowen and Luke Rafferty; and his brother Dennis Bishop. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Ghost Church (472 Atwells Ave, Providence, RI 02909). A committal service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the Notre Dame Cemetery.
