It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan W. Lowder of West Warwick, Rhode Island, who passed away on April 11, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband John F. Lowder, Sr.; her parents, Michael Ukleja and Julia Ukleja (Lero); and her siblings, Theresa O'Rourke and John Ukleja.

She is survived by : her children, Nancy and John (Kelly); her granddaughters, Samantha and Melanie; and her brother Michael Ukleja, Jr..

In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Elizabeth Adult Day Center, Apponaug Center, 3270 Post Road, Warwick, RI 02886 or the Rhode Island SPCA, 186 Amaral Street, Riverside, RI 02915 in her memory would be appreciated.
