He was predeceased by: his parents, Zach Gonsalves and Flora Gonsalves (Camara); and his siblings, Raymond, Lawrence Gonsalves and Elaine DeSilva (Gonsalves).
He is survived by: his wife Angela Gonsalves (Parente); his children, Gary (Stacy) of West Warwick, Karla Healey of Coventry and Greg (Stephanie) of West Warwick; and his grandchildren, Vincent, Victoria, Matthew and Gabriella.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Prata-Gallogly Funeral Home (78 Providence St, West Warwick, RI 02893). A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (820 Providence St, West Warwick, RI 02893). The military honors will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery (301 S County Trail, Exeter, RI 02822).
