With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lawrence A. Sylvester (West Warwick, Rhode Island), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 25, 2025 at the age of 93. He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Sylvester and Gladys Sylvester (Smith); his brother Austin Sylvester of San Bernadino, CA.; his wife Joan M. Sylvester (Simas); and his daughter Elizabeth Sylvester Anderson.
He is survived by: his daughter Carol Hall of North Carolina; his stepchildren, Diane Meo Remiesiewicz (Edmund) of West Greenwich, RI and Anthony Meo (Linda) of Richmond, RI.; and his grandchildren, Anthony Meo (Melissa), Neil Remiesiewicz, Julia Morey (James), Heather Richards, Thomas Anderson and Josh Antonelli.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests a donation in Larry's memory be made to a veterans' organization of your choice.
