Lucille Y. Simas Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lucille Y. Simas of West Warwick, Rhode Island, who passed away on September 27, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband William A. "Bill" Simas; her parents, Rosario J. Russi and Yvonne B. Russi (Monte); her son Michael W. Simas; and her siblings, Claire Russi and Roland J "Butch" Russi.
She is survived by: her children, Lori Ann LeBeau (Paul) of Johnston, David S. Simas of Coventry and Susan L. Harris (Steven) of West Warwick; her sister Jeanne Dupuis of Hope; her grandchild Ashley Jarosz (Jarod) of Johnston; and her great grandchildren, Sophia and Zachary Jarosz. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and one great-great-niece.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home (659 E Greenwich Ave, West Warwick, RI 02893). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 8:45 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Apostles Catholic Church (800 Pippin Orchard Rd, Cranston, RI 02921). A committal service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Notre Dame Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Lucille's memory be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, located at 262 Danny Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
