She was predeceased by: her husband Joao F. Costa; her parents, Francisco Braga and Antonia Braga (Melo); her daughter Mary Lou Costa; and her siblings, Conceiao Braga, Luis Braga, Jose Francisco Braga, Mary Lou Deus, Joe Braga and Joseph Francisco Braga II.
She is survived by: her children, Frank Costa (Isilda), Gloria Costa, John Costa, Duarte "Ed" Costa (Donna), Joseph Costa (Candy) and Donna Costa (John Brousseau); her grandchildren, Amanda Ford, Frank Costa Jr., Mary Trafford, Michael Costa, Ryan Costa, Nathaniel Costa and Alexis Costa; her great grandchild Livia Costa; and her sisters, Fatima Medeiros and Leonia Cidade.
