Mary A. Costa Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary A. Costa (West Warwick, Rhode Island), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 4, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Mary farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Mary is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Luis and Maria (Amaral). She is survived by: her husband Manuel Costa; her children, Anthony M. Costa (Lynn) and Christina M. Costa (Keith Meloche); and her grandchildren, Meridel and Mason Miguel. She is also survived by siblings and a wide circle of family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 9:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony Church (1 Sunset Ave, West Warwick, RI 02893). A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Mary Cemetery (70 Church St, West Warwick, RI 02893).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary's memory may be made to St. Anthony Church, 10 Sunset Avenue, West Warwick, RI 02893.
