She was predeceased by: her parents, Pellegrino DeSimone and Angelina DeSimone (Armenti); her husband John Lapati, Sr.; her grandson John Barlow; her siblings, Stephen DeSimone, Carmino DeSimone, Matteo DeSimone, Josephine Lauro and Anthony DeSimone; and her brothers-in-law, Albert Lapati and Domenic Lapati.
She is survived by: her children, John Lapati, Jr. (Lydia), Sharon Jackson (Michael Maselli) and Susan Barlow (Steven Mercurio); and her brothers, Ralph DeSimone (Norma) and John DeSimone (Carol). She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Church (854 Providence St, West Warwick, RI 02893).
