He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Wilfred Jarbeau and Philibert Jarbeau; his wife Doris Jarbeau; his children, Michele Jarbeau (Rodney Sawyer) of Lincolnton, NC, Renee Jarbeau (John Butters) of Suches, GA, Rick Jarbeau (Suzanne Jarbeau) of Marietta, GA and Lauren Jarbeau Edwards (Stan Edwards) of Chatsworth, GA.; and his grandchildren, Ryan Herrier (Jamie), Danielle Creech (Seth), Hannah Hensley, Olivia, Grace and Will Jarbeau. He was also cherished by cousins, nieces and nephews.

Flowers are welcome, but if a charitable donation is preferred, the family suggests making a donation to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, Dallas, GA in Richard's honor.
