He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Bell and Dorothea Bell (Gay). He is survived by: his daughters, Jacquelyne Bell of West Warwick and Elizabeth Minchala of Trumbull, Connecticut; his grandchildren, Ronald Rego Vital III, Esmé Jeanette Minchala and Vivienne Claire Minchala; his sisters, Lynn Fontaine and Laurie Bell; and his former wife Claire Bell.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:15 AM and at 7:00 PM. The military honors will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery (301 S County Trail, Exeter, RI 02822-9712). Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home (659 E Greenwich Ave, West Warwick, RI 02893). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Place Inside the Cemetery. A committal service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery (301 S County Trail, Exeter, RI 02822-9712).
