We bid farewell to Barbara Sawyer Morgan (Westerly, Rhode Island), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 22, 2026 at the age of 91. Barbara touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Sawyer and Margaret Rynkiewicz (Joseph); her brother Lewis Sawyer; and her husbands, Bruce Morgan and Jon Yellin.
She is survived by: her sons, Jeffrey Morgan (Kelly) and Timothy Morgan (Christine); her stepdaughters, Lynne Yellin, Sabrina Abondonza and Rachel Darrow; her stepgrandchildren, Kayla, Gayle, Lauren Krest, Michael, Julia Abondonza, Raz Besaleli and Julian Darrow; her sister-in-law Eleanore Sawyer; her friends, Doris, Joyce, Mary Ann and Bonnie; and her pet Zoe. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Barbara's memory may be made to the Christian Appalachian Project, Acadia National Park, or the North Carolina Raptor Center.
