She was predeceased by: her parents, William Barrus and Gertrude Barrus (Gallagher). She is survived by: her husband John R. Murphy; her children, Ryan E. Murphy (Diana) of Wisconsin, Susan Harney (Jeremy) of Rhode Island and Andrew A. Murphy (Deidra) of Connecticut; and her siblings, William Barrus of Charlestown, RI and Linda Hudon of Lake Placid, FL.. She is also survived by grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
