She was predeceased by: her parents, John Joyce and Helen Joyce. She is survived by: her husband Joseph L Szymurski, Jr. of Lathrop Avenue; her daughters, Karen Heery (Joseph Heery Jr.) of Old Saybrook, CT and Kristen McKenna of Old Saybrook, CT; her brother John "Jack" Joyce (Vicki) of Mesa, AZ; and her grandchildren, Lauren Fraser (Austin), Jack McKenna, Sean McKenna and Nellie Fraser.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michael Church (60 Liberty St, Pawcatuck, CT 06379).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St Jude Hospital or St. Michael's Steeple Fund.
