He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Howard and Delores Howard; and his sisters, Karen Startz and Patricia. He is survived by: his wife Mary Howard (Lamphere); his son Joseph Howard (Shirley); his brothers-in-law, William Startz and Chet Lamphere; and his uncle Andrew Lamphere. He is also survived by two grandchildren and one great grandchild.
