She is survived by: her children, Carmelia Occhialini (Mike), Suzanne Leandro (Walter), Jeannie Riley and John P. Pereira, III (Danielle); and her sisters, Idalina Carreiro, Teresa Leandro and Juvenalia Pereira. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren: four great-grandchildren: and several nieces and nephews.
