We are sad to announce that, on February 12, 2026, Catherine Collins of Westerly, Rhode Island passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Cornelius "Neil" B. Collins; her children, Neil B. Collins (Karen) of Cream Ridge, NJ, Brigid C. Caffrey (Mark) of Ridgewood, NJ, Cathleen M. Panowicz of Prairie Village, Kansas, John C. Collins (Nancy) of Providence, RI, Martha C. Sylvia (David) of Misquamicut, RI and Ann M. McCarthy (Scott) of Berwyn, PA.; her parents, Edward J. Coogan and Anna Coogan; and her siblings, Edward J. Coogan, Jr. of Rumford, RI, James J. Coogan of Mattapoisett, MA and Mary Martin of Round Pond, ME.. She was also cherished by her nineteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
