He is survived by: his wife Mary Capizzano (O'Keefe); his sons, David Jr., Jeff (Sherry), Tim (Lisa) and Mike (Merelise); his grandchildren, Hannah (Ryan), Zachary, Mallory (Dom), Patrick, Hannah L., Michael L., Myles and CeCe; his siblings, Stephen (Theresa), Walter (Laurie) and Christina; his brother-in-law Larry O'Keefe; and his daughter-in-law Laura.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home (59 Spruce St, Westerly, RI 02891). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St. Michael Church (60 Liberty St, Pawcatuck, CT 06379).
