We announce the death of Denis Anthony Joseph Amoruso (Westerly, Rhode Island), who passed away on July 20, 2026, at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Mary. He is survived by: his children, Denis, Bill Amoruso and Teresa Hunsucker (Win Hunsucker); his son-in-law Win Hunsucker (Teresa Hunsucker); his daughter Bernadette Amoruso (Miriam Dunn); his grandchildren, Nikki Romeo, Raquel and Dominic Stone; and his siblings, Eileen Palomba, William and Russell Amoruso.
In lieu of flowers, donations are welcome to his local elementary school and parish St. Paul the Apostle in Yonkers, NY.
