It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Joseph Hughes of Westerly, Rhode Island, who passed away on January 21, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Loretta Michaud and Roland Joseph Hughes; and his siblings, Norman, Elaine, Claudette and Charlene.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Viguers Hughes; his sons, David Hughes of Westford, MA and Peter Hughes of Carlsbad, CA; his daughters-in-law, Heather Hughes and Shelbi Randenberg; and his grandchildren, Abigail, Rachel and Lyra.
