She was predeceased by: her parents, William Wesley and Ruth Alexander (Bartlett); her husband Raymond "Chick" Fonicello; and her sisters, Nancy Mansfield and Ruth Nettleton.
She is survived by: her children, Peter Fonicello of Hamden, Katherine Fonicello of Guilford and Christine Fonicello (Mark) of Westerly; and her grandchildren, Alexandra, Mitchell, Lucas Fish and Julie Wright.
