She was predeceased by: her husband Anthony J. "Tony" Blanda; her parents, Ralph Hurtado and Ethel Hurtado; her sons, Anthony Blanda, Jr. of St. Simons Island, GA and Samuel Blanda of Portsmouth, RI; and her siblings, William, Ralph Hurtado, Florence Ruth, Alice Devaney and Mary Parks.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Blanda of Westerly, Sylvia Blanda (Walter Young) of Kingston, RI, Louise Blanda Wright (CS) and Diana Blanda (Clifford E. Smith III) of Westerly; and her daughter-in-law Gail Blanda of St. Simons Island, GA.. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and countless other relatives.
