She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel Rewick; and her parents, John Ward and Anna Ward. She is survived by: her children, Ronald Rewick (Gina) of Ashaway, Dorothy Chamberlain (Geoffrey) of Ashaway and Elizabeth Trebisacci (James) of Westerly; her siblings, Norman Ward of Louisville, Mary Ann Correll of Florida and Bernice Sminkey of Westerly; her grandchildren, Rachel, Danny, Lucas and Emily; and her great grandchildren, Victoria, Jason, Austin, Lynda, William Trebisacci and Sundays.

“Im sorry that Dorothy passed. Was a favorite of mine at the nursing home. I think of her every time I walk past her door, and Riders of the Purple Sage, and all the birds she colored...getting her morning coffee and scratching her back. She would greet me “how are you friend” .. I’ll miss her and think of her often, as I walk to the cemetery where she will finally rest... and look at her grave stone... for years to come. I live about 1/2 mile from the cemetery”
