He is survived by: his children, Edward F. Sylvia (Ana), Deborah Collins (Mike), David Sylvia (Debbie), Theresa Gentile (Gus) and John Sylvia (Tammie); and his siblings, Franklin Sylvia and Patricia Sylvia. He is also survived by grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
