He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward A. Murphy and Helen Theresa Murphy (Granahan). He is survived by: his wife Cevyn C. Murphy; his sons, Brendan, Brian (Jenny) and Liam (Kate); his granddaughters, Cara, Brigid and Maggie Rose; his siblings, Dennis (Sally) and Nancy (David Geikie); and his nieces, Courtney, Katie Murphy, Heather Jordan and Lauren Taguding.
