Elizabeth Tillinghast Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 2, 2022, Elizabeth Tillinghast (Westerly, Rhode Island) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Carey and Jennie Carey; her husband Delbert "Skip" Tillinghast; her children, Robert Tillinghast (Robin) and Cheryl Allen (Steven); and her siblings, Jane Carey, Kathleen Taylor, Maureen Moscaritolo, Margaret Harvey and Daniel Carey.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel Tillinghast of Westerly, Timothy Tillinghast (Bonnie) of Pawcatuck, Delbert Tillinghast (Jennifer) of Ledyard and Debbie Urso (Dino) of Westerly; and her siblings, John "Tippy" Carey of Westerly, Claire Sexton of Westerly and Patricia Dessaules of Pawcatuck. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
