He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Anderson and Esther Anderson; and his brothers, Alfred and Frederick Anderson. He is survived by: his sisters, Ellen Riley and Marilyn Gwaltney. He is also survived by one niece, six nephews, 12 great nieces and nephews and 7 great great nieces and nephews.
