We announce the death of Frank Jonas Hayes Jr. (Westerly, Rhode Island), who passed away on August 23, 2026, at the age of 89. Frank will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Nicholson Hayes and Frank Hayes Sr.; his son-in-law Scott O'Brien; and his sisters, Diana Berenger and Debbie Martel.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his daughter Kelly Hayes; his son-in-law Danny Pena of Brooklyn, NY; his children, Erin Hayes of Westerly, RI and Timothy Hayes; his daughter-in-law Fay Hayes of Honolulu, HI; his grandchildren, Liam Hayes O'Brien and Chloe Hayes O'Brien of Brooklyn, NY; and his pet Snuggles.
