He was predeceased by : his father Norman P. Dion. He is survived by : his wife Jennifer Dion of Newbury, NH; his mother Mildred Dion (Manning) of Westerly; his siblings, Amy Dolahan (John) and Andrew Dion (Martha); and his nieces, Emma Dion, Audrey Dolahan and Hannah Dion.
Gary notably responded to New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina and, with FEMA, to upstate New York during the COVID pandemic.
