He was predeceased by: his brothers, Andrew F. and Gerald A. Schackner. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his sister Catherine M. Schackner; his son Peter Schackner; his daughter-in-law Kate Schackner; his grandsons, Judah, Ravi and Roman; and his pet Maezy.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the St. Clare Roman Catholic Church (62 Crandall Ave, Westerly, RI 02891). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
