With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gloria Roche (Westerly, Rhode Island), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 9, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert D. Roche Sr.; her parents, William Sousa and Gladys Sousa; and her brother Duane Sousa. She is survived by: her children, Sheryl A. Mellow (Lawrence), Robert D. Roche Jr. (Karrie LaMarche) and Mark S. Roche (Beth Rodgers); her grandchildren, Ivy Mellow (Bill), Amy Panucci (Seth), Daniel Roche, Stephen Roche, Dylan Roche, Nicole Rodgers, Colby and Casey LaMarche; her great grandchildren, Viva Panucci and Cleo Panucci; and her brother Richard Sousa. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home (59 Spruce St, Westerly, RI 02891). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michael Church (60 Liberty St, Pawcatuck, CT 06379).
