He was predeceased by: his parents, Guido Ottaviani and Rose Ottaviani (D'Altorio); his wife Barbara (Desimone); and his sister Judith Merriam. He is survived by: his children, John (Jean Daley), David (Jacqueline), Paul (Debra), Mark and Karen Ferraro (David); his stepdaughter Barbara Middlebrooks (Donald); his sisters, Jeanne Ottaviani and Donna Sexton; and his former wife June Ottaviani. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
