We are sad to announce that on November 3, 2025, John Bitgood of Westerly, Rhode Island passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, John shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid John farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Bitgood and Mary "Irene" Bitgood; his brother Jeffrey Bitgood; and his stepbrother Edward Cranshaw. He is survived by: his sons, John M. Bitgood (Caitlin) of Mystic and Jason A. Bitgood of Westerly; his sister Helen B. Falcone; and his grandchildren, Trinity and Lilah. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
