John Carey Obituary

He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Carey (Kenyon); and his siblings, Jane Carey, Kathleen Taylor, Betty Tillinghast, Maureen Moscaritolo, Margaret Harvey and Daniel Carey.
He is survived by: his children, Julie Latham, Sheila Kuzmic (Joseph), Joan Rundman (Eric), Jena McGuire (Tom), John Jr. Carey (Debra), Karla DeSarro (Roger), Thea Jenkins (Andrew) and Christopher Carey (Danielle); and his siblings, Claire Sexton of Westerly and Patricia Dessaules of Pawcatuck. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Pius X Church (45 Elm St, Westerly, RI 02891).
