He was predeceased by: his wife Agnes M. McErlean (Inglesby); his parents, Thomas McErlean and Marie McErlean; his sons, Thomas and John; and his son-in-law Kevin Hunter.
He is survived by: his daughters, Ann McErlean of Westerly, Marie Hunter of Westerly, Aggie Duhamel (Chris) of Westerly and Catherine Francese (Carl) of New Rochelle, NY; and his daughters-in-law, Kathy McErlean McQuillan and Beth McCarthy McErlean Pierce. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
