With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph J. Kirby (Westerly, Rhode Island), born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, who passed away on July 19, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles L. Kirby and Genevieve C. Kirby; his former wife Lillian A. Kirby; and his siblings, Charles, Paul Kirby and Anne Hope Kirby-Overmyer.
He is survived by: his wife Katherine W. Hoxsie of Fenner Lane; his children, Kathleen Kulig (Robert), Michael Kirby (Sharon) and Ann Kirby; his grandchildren, Kyle and Megan Kirby; his stepchildren, Kenyon Murphy (Karen) and Katherine Gardner (Bryant); and his stepgrandchildren, Cole, Cooper Murphy, Katherine and Margaret Gardner. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
