He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph M. Sr. Vacca and Frances M. Vacca; and his brother-in-law James Hanlon. He is survived by: his wife Sheila A. Vacca (Gerardi); his children, Katie Kernozek (Tracy), Angelo Capoccia and Kam Capoccia (Jeffrey Hamel); his grandchildren, Jacob, Marissa, Jack Ostriker and Teagan Kernozek; and his siblings, Madelyn Hanlon, Richard Vacca (Candace) and Charles Vacca (Lori). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
