With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maureen Elizabeth Fahy in Westerly, Rhode Island, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 13, 2026 at the age of 68. She was predeceased by: her parents, John P. Swords and Gertrude M. Swords (O'Connor); her husband Daniel R. Fahy of Malloy's Irish Pub; and her brother Brian Swords. She is survived by: her children, Rory Fahy of Hamden, CT and Kiera Fahy of Westerly, RI; her siblings, Patricia Swords (Greg Padick), John (Regina Swords), Christine Swords (Patrick Doherty), Kevin (Pamela Swords) and Brendan (Kerry Swords); and her brother-in-law Kevin (Clare Fahy). She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins.
