He was predeceased by: his daughter Julie Lynn Cardinal. He is survived by: his wife Holly; his daughter Tracy Lynn Cardinal; his brother Peter; his sister-in-law Robin Cardinal; his sister Susan Cardinal; and his sister-in-law Maria Rose Valles. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to "The Cardinal Foundation" founded in memory of his daughter, Julie Lynn, would be deeply appreciated so that their legacies will live on by awarding scholarships to help educate Westerly High School graduates looking to pursue careers in mental or physical health, and to help other families who suffered the tragic loss of a loved one due to a violent act.
