He is survived by: his husband Hock Chee Yong (Jeremy); his parents, Matthew Lewiss and Florence Lewiss; his sisters, Resa E. Lewiss, MD and Hilary A. Turano; and his nieces, Abigail K. Turano and Chloe R. Turano.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Congregation Sharah Zedek (6 Union St, Westerly, RI 02891). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Hebrew Benevolent Cemetery (62 Middle Rd, Preston, CT 06365). For information about Shiva, please contact the family.
